The Trinity Cannot Be the Cornerstone

The Trinity concept is so important to some Christians that they make it the cornerstone of their faith.  When they do this, they are acting in complete disregard for the Bible which makes clear that Christ is the cornerstone (1 Peter 2:6).  Thereby, the doctrine of man (the Trinity) pushes out of view the doctrine of God (the Christ).  This is the sort of practice Jesus strongly criticized (Mark 7:7-8).

If Christ is the cornerstone of your faith, you cannot embrace a doctrine which moves Him to second place (i.e., the trinity doctrine says Christ is the second person of the Trinity).

If the trinity concept is the cornerstone of your faith then you have been led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3).  Return to Him from whom you have wandered (Isaiah 31:6).
