The expression “elephant in the room” refers, of course, to a truth which is evident to everyone present, but which, in spite of its obvious importance, is ignored by those present – that is, a great and important truth (whether good or bad) goes unmentioned and unaddressed.
God fits this description…and in the most profound way possible. He is always in our midst and all around us – yet so often He goes unmentioned and unaddressed. Can we not change that? Shouldn’t we, for our own good and for our children’s, change that?
Consider practicing the presence of Christ. You’ll only be addressing the obvious.
