Enns on Experts, Evolution, and Evangelicals (Part 2) « Awaiting A White Robe

More on the historical (or not) Adam and Eve from Enns on Experts, Evolution, and Evangelicals (Part 2) « Awaiting A White Robe.

Mike Barlotta presents a means by which scientists could convince non-scientists of truth claims about evolution.  He even tries to help them along.  I wonder if any will act on his suggestion, which seems to be a good one for everyone all around.

Unfortunately, those who embrace evolution as an explanation for our existence and disregard the Bible seem to rely on the “of-course” argument, which is to say “Of course, evolution is true and the Bible is false.”  “Too many scientists believe evolution and don’t believe the Bible for it to be any other way.”  From there they may even lapse into scientific jargon or references to scientific books – none of which helps a non-scientific truth seeker.
