Does the Unbeliever Have to Approach the Bible as Divinely Inspired? (William Lane Craig) – YouTube

Dr. William Lane Craig says the atheist need not approach the Bible as inerrant or inspired by God to get to the truth of it.

This is consistent with the way I came to regard Jesus Christ as true.  That is, I began reading the Bible as literature – not as the divinely-inspired word of God.  The set of documents we call the New Testament make a compelling case for Christ as 1st-century historical records alone without having to be regarded as the word of God.  I make this clear in the post I Invite You to Challenge Me at My Most Vulnerable Point.
