How Steve Jobs and Apple turned technology into a religion – latimes.com.

This is but one example of how secular man fills his religious vacuum. ย That is, we’re made to worship God, and when we don’t, we simply worship other things.

Yet nothing else will truly satisfy us, and this is why Augustine said:

“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.”

  1. I have loved this quote right from the start and I’ll do it for a thousand years or more. ๐Ÿ™‚

Indeed, I think these words were spoken out of the stillness of a pure heart. The words are tailor made; they really waited for me because God will only give the best – that is, His rest.

We don’t need to search high and low for it just to find out that it was here in our hearts all along, since our Lord promised,

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28)

    It’s all about Him, isn’t it… ๐Ÿ˜‰
