Today I begin weekly podcast for this blog: Week in Review. I want to give an account of each week from my perspective for the benefit of those who are seeking to live their lives in the 21st Century by the word of God.
It will take several days, maybe even a week, before this podcast is listed in iTunes and other directories. Until then, you can listen in your browswer with the player above or you can download the “mike gantt” app from the App Store on your iPhone and listen to it on that device. (You should be able to do the same on Android or Windows phone as well.)
I will normally publish this podcast on Friday afternoons or Saturday morning.
The Scriptural Christianity podcast will now be published first thing Sunday mornings.
The Scriptural Literacy podcast will now be published first thing Wednesday mornings.
Jennifer Roback Morse of The Ruth Institute has helped me understand how closely social issues and economic issues are tied together – even in the political realm.
On the blogs ths week:
A Scriptural Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom dwelt on the coexistence of the kingdom of God with the world, and how we need to discern the difference between the two.
A Bible Reader’s Guide to Jesus and His Kingdom dwelt on the psalms as prophecies of Jesus Christ.
Current Events in Light of the Kingdom of God covered “The Jesus Manifesto” and “I Hate Religion, but Love Jesus” video. Also covered, was the new documentary “Jesus of Testimony.”
The Smartphone app (which will receive all the podcasts) was released this week.
Let us remember the poor, just as Jesus taught us to do. Here’s the article from which I was quoting the respective family and individual incomes by country: Worldwide, Median Household Income About $10,000 by Gallup World.
