The Hobby Lobby Case Was About Abortion, Not Contraception

The Left (and the news media, which has come to mean pretty much the same thing) misleads when it says that the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court case was about contraception.  The Right missteps when it responds that the case was about religious liberty.  The reality is that the case was about abortion, because it was only about the four of 20 contraceptives that were deemed to be abortion-inducing.  The 16 that were deemed to be simply contraceptives were not contested.

Our failure to establish at the outset of every Hobby Lobby conversation this fact that the case was about abortion and not contraception will make Supreme Court victory for Hobby Lobby a Pyrrhic one.
