Jude 1:3  – The apostles handed down “the faith” once for all.  “The faith” is faith in Christ.  This faith that the apostles left us does not need to be updated; it just needs to be adopted.

The grace of God transcends physical lineage.  Under the old covenant, physical descent from Abraham was crucial.  In the new covenant, physical descent is irrelevant and, instead, we are encouraged to have hearts toward God like the one Abraham had.  That’s something that you are capable of doing whether you are Jew or Gentile.

The Bible calls us the body of Christ; it never calls us the body of the Trinity.  Why then do some people insist that we have to consider God a trinity in order to belong to Christ?

Some people read the Old Testament and come to the conclusion that God is morally deficient.  Some of “the new theists” have accused Him of genocide and misogyny, among other things.  Yet Jesus read the Old Testament and drew the conclusion that God was the only one worthy of being called good (Mark 10:18).  I think I’ll go with Jesus.

Compare Psalm 16:11 with Psalm 23:3 and see that the path of life is the path of righteousness.
